SFT-100 VideoDisc Player

The format of this media, commonly called a “videodisc” was often confused with LaserDisc media. LaserDiscs were read optically with a laser beam, whereas CED videodiscs, like the one here, were read physically with a stylus, similar to the workings of a conventional gramophone record. The two systems are mutually incompatible.
